Job Description:

Shivtron, a leading mobile phone distributor in the dynamic Dominican Republic, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to optimize the flow of products and ensure efficient supply chain operations. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our team, managing the end-to-end logistics process to guarantee timely product deliveries, streamline inventory management, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Management:
- Coordinate and oversee the entire supply chain process, including product sourcing, order fulfillment, and inventory control.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure product availability to meet customer demand.
Shipping and Distribution:
- Arrange transportation and distribution of mobile phones and related products, working with carriers and freight forwarders to guarantee on-time deliveries.
- Prepare shipping documents and manage customs clearance processes for international shipments.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and implement efficient storage and shelving solutions.
- Work closely with the purchasing team to manage stock levels and reordering processes.
Quality Control and Compliance:
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Monitor compliance with local and international shipping and customs regulations.
Communication and Reporting:
- Collaborate with internal departments, including sales and procurement, to coordinate logistics activities and ensure smooth operations.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, order statuses, and delivery timelines for management review.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
Experience: Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in the distribution or consumer electronics industry.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions to logistics challenges.
